Overview

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for carefully following manufacturing instructions and adhering to applicable company quality standards and requirements to ensure the proper manufacturing of our collagen vascular graft.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture vascular graft products as required to support all customer, internal, clinical, and other demands.
  • Package vascular grafts as required as per current process specifications.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all manufacturing activities
    including but not limited to device history records and inventory counts.
  • Complete scheduled production runs in an efficient, timely manner to meet schedules.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects or events as requested.
  • Assist with inventory counting activities as required.
  • Participate in safety audits as required and actively engage in daily safety discussions/observations.
  • Assist with validation activities for new or modified processes and products.
  • Insure that all work instructions accurately reflect current processes; notify the supervisor in any instance where approved work instructions are inconsistent or inaccurate.
  • Verify that all materials and instruments utilized during the manufacturing process are within current specification and calibration cycles.
  • Perform various maintenance functions when required.
  • Maintains the highest levels of aseptic technique as per company procedures
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Treats others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • College Degree a plus
  • Knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is preferred
  • Operating Room experience a plus
  • Good hand dexterity and eyesight, and willing to work with chemicals
  • Computer skills and knowledge required  
  • Medical knowledge required
