Overview

This position will be in charge of running and fixing double needle bar machines and weaving looms for the manufacturing of artificial grafts using polyester yarn. This position also requires the ability to set up patterns in the machine for the manufacturing process.

 

Responsibilities

  • Works in a cleanroom ISO Class 8 environment with masks, smocks, gloves, and shoe covers 
  • Packs medical devices and works with chemicals
  • Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Follows written specifications and manufacturing instructions to assemble a variety of medical devices
  • Evaluate product assembly to company quality standards 
  • Completes quality work at acceptable department/production-determined rates
  • Supports other manufacturing tasks as required
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Treats others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and manufacturing instructions
  • Prior Medical device assembly experience or working with small parts is a plus
  • Candidate should have good eyesight, hand dexterity (hand coordination) and attention to detail, and willingness to work with chemicals
  • Able to use small tools, microscopes, and tabletop equipment
  • Double needle bar knitting mechanical experience is a plus.
  • Able to sit/gown for extended periods during the shift
  • Able to perform frequent repetitive motions
  • Able to work in an environment with low and occasionally increasing  background  noise
  • Entry-level positions are available; we are willing to train the right candidate.

 

Compensation

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour

 

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting.  This role may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
