Overview

The Business Applications Developer will report directly to the Manager, IT Business Applications and have the following primary responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Design, Implement & Maintenance of Synapse (DW), Data Factory, Data Lake, Foundry and Storage ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Create visually appealing accurate and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, providing stakeholders with actionable insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently.
  • Maintain, Design and Develop solutions using SQL, ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, etc. for our internal applications.
  • Maintain Interfaces for data management among applications, ensure data is accurate.
  • Gather requirements and build solutions for business applications. Work with end users to identify process improvements.
  • Support and resolve end user requests for EDI transactions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Good Project & Task Management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Or Master’s degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience.
  • 3 - 4 years of experience in Azure technology stack experience required: Synapse (DW) & Analytics, Blob Storage, Data Factory, Data Lake.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, Data Analysis, DAX expressions, and report/dashboard development.
  • Web Application development using any programming language along with SQL or other DBMS experience.
  • Strong analytical, systems and organizational skills.
  • Willing to work five days per week in the office.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications is a big plus.
