Overview

General Purpose of the Job:

 The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for carefully following manufacturing instructions and adhering to applicable company quality standards and requirements to ensure the proper manufacturing of our collagen vascular graft.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture vascular graft products as required to support all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand.
  • Package vascular grafts as required as per current process specifications.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all manufacturing activities,
    including but not limited to device history records and inventory counts.
  • Complete scheduled production runs in an efficient, timely manner to meet schedules.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects or events as requested.
  • Assist with inventory counting activities as required.
  • Participate in safety audits as required and actively engage in daily safety discussions/observations.
  • Assist with validation activities for new or modified processes and products.
  • Insure that all work instructions accurately reflect current processes; notify supervisor in any instance where approved work instructions are inconsistent or inaccurate.
  • Verify that all materials and instruments utilized during the manufacturing process are within current specification and calibration cycles.
  • Perform various maintenance functions when required.

Qualifications

  • High school plus 1 - 3 years of related work experience
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written standard operation procedures, manufactuing instructioins and verbal instructions in English.
  • Good hand dexterity and eye sight
  • Willing to work with chemicals
  • Frequent repetitive motion
  • Must be able to work in a cleanroom setting and follow procedures related to gowning for an ISO 7 facility. 
  • Experience in a manufacturing role is a plus
  • Knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufactuing Practices) is preferred
  • Stong attentioin to detail
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Familiarity with computers and various softward for general business funcionality
  • General mathematical skills to perform calculations to analyze processing tiems which are related to time driven chemical steps.
  • Able to sit / gown for extended periods of time during the shift
  • Use of simple manufacturing equipment to complete process
  • Ability to accurately record measurements and various data
